flying in the face of danger
Where there is a will, there is a way.
The Dunkirk spirit has prevailed and I'm beyond excited to let you know that a small but perfectly-
formed group of bravehearts WILL embark on a wonderful flowery foodie adventure in April 2016.
While I completely understand those who changed their minds about travelling after the terrible events of November 13, I'm afraid I'm cut of a different cloth..
You see I don't think we can live our lives worrying about how and when and where we're going to die. Memento mori. I think we just have to live, and to give it our best shot at that. Sometimes you're in the wrong place at the wrong time. Most of the time you're not.
And so we boldly go forth to make a few dreams come true.
Tulips in Amsterdam, Monet's glorious gardens in Giverny. Paris, Provence and even my beloved Portugal.
Meanwhile there's lots of lovely weddings to floralise - another one next weekend. There's bouquets to make and photos to take, weeds to pull and gardens to water. Many hours of cricket to watch and summer to enjoy.
We're flying in the face of danger, and you know what? The very thought of it is exhilarating!
